Perfectly situated between Padstow and Newquay on the B3276 coast road.
From Mawgan Porth, take the B3276 road towards Padstow. Keep going until you pass the National Trust turning for Carnewas. Our entrance is in the next field on the left-hand side of the road. The signs for the Bedruthan Steps Campsite are easily seen from there.
From the 1st of July to 31st August the site is manned 24hrs, we advise you to arrive during daylight but we will be happy to help you find a spot if you’re delayed.
Planes, Trains & Taxis.
The most direct train is from Bodmin Parkway - 23 miles (approx 30mins by car).
Newquay airport is 10 minutes away - Direct flights from major UK and some European cities.
Local Bus Route
We are on the bus route between Newquay (6 miles South) and Padstow (6 miles North), no. 56 - copies of the timetable are available from us or online.
Coastal Path Access
The scenic coastal path runs d’rectly below the site, to the south through Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay towards Newquay, and to the north to the beaches of Porthcothan, Harlyn Bay, Trevose and Treyarnon onto Padstow. You can park in our car park all day to do these walks, and our lower car park is pretty much on the path.
Cliff Steps to Bedruthan Steps beach are closed.
Sadly Bedruthan steps beach is currently closed due to a winter landslide, which has damaged the access.
